By default it sets no cookies — if you accept cookies we additionally store one random first-party identifier (pv_vid, no personal data) to recognise your return visits, and declining keeps it fully cookieless. Visits are otherwise identified using a non-reversible signature derived on our server from request data and a salt that rotates daily; the raw IP address is discarded and never stored, so this data cannot be traced back to you and is not personal information.
