This Cookie Policy explains how ProspectVine uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience and website performance.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function efficiently and provide valuable analytics about user interactions.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
a. Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for website functionality — such as page navigation, security, and access to protected areas. Without them, the site may not work correctly.
b. Analytical Cookies
Used to collect anonymous data about how visitors use our website. This helps us improve usability and understand visitor behavior.
c. Functionality Cookie
These remember your preferences — such as location, language, or previous interactions — to personalize your experience.
d. Targeting & Advertising Cookies
These are used to show you relevant advertisements based on your browsing activity and to measure the performance of campaigns.
3. Third-Party Cookie
Our website may use third-party services (such as Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Meta Pixel) to collect data for analytics and marketing.
These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
4. Our First-Party, Cookieless Analytics
In addition to the third-party tools listed above, we operate our own first-party analytics to understand how visitors use ProspectVine. By default this system sets no cookies and stores no personal information. Rather than tracking individuals, it derives a rotating, non-reversible visitor signature on our own server from technical request data (a hashed combination of IP address, browser type, and a salt that changes every day); the raw IP address is discarded and never stored. Because that signature resets daily and cannot be linked back to you, it is not personal data and needs no consent. If you accept cookies, we additionally set a single first-party cookie (pv_vid) holding a random identifier — not personal information — so we can recognise your return visits over time; declining, or clearing cookies, keeps this analytics fully cookieless. We use it only in aggregate — to measure pages viewed, traffic sources and campaigns, on-site interactions, approximate location (country, region, and city, derived from your IP address at our edge without storing it), and engagement — and retain it for up to 13 months.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can:
- Delete all cookies stored on your device
- Block future cookies from specific websites
- Get notified when a cookie is being set
However, disabling cookies may limit your website experience and access to some functionalities
6. Consent
By continuing to browse our website, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your browser settings.
7. Data Protection
Cookies do not store personal information such as passwords or payment details. Any collected data is processed in compliance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
8. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in law or technology. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
